NECO/SSCE 2023 Results available today

The marking process for the 2023 school-based senior secondary certificate examination (SSCE) has begun, according to the National Examinations Council (NECO).

The marking process started on Saturday, September 2, and is expected to be completed in two weeks.

A total of 1, 205,888 applicants nationwide registered for the exam, of which 601,074 were male and 584,814, female.

When questioned about the exam update, Mr. Azeez Sani, the NECO head of information and public relations, revealed in an exclusive interview with Sunday Tribune.

He stated that “we have started marking the exam scripts and that we expect to announce the results by the end of this month”.

He assured exam candidates that their results could be used for the current admission process into universities and other higher learning schools, as well as for other purposes.

Sani, on the other hand, asked state governments that have not yet paid their students’ examination fees to do so immediately for the council’s activities to run smoothly.
